.@KellyannePolls says that 2 Iraqi refugees "were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre."

Kellyanne Conway has had a tough go of things lately - she was forced to defending Press Secretary Sean Spicer's lies about the crowd size at President Trump's inauguration as "alternative facts," and now she's stuck defending Trump's Muslim-targeted immigration ban by bringing up the infamous Bowling Green Massacre.
There's only one problem: the "Bowling Green Massacre" is not a thing that happened.
See, there WERE two individuals (Iraqi refugees) who were caught in Bowling Green, KY, planning to help get weapons to al Qaeda operatives in Iraq (not commit a massacre in Bowling Green). They were arrested and sentenced to two years in prison and killed exactly 0 people in Bowling Green, let alone enough individuals to be considered a "massacre."
So - Trump's spokesperson literally just made up a fake terrorist attack to help justify an unpopular decision, and - as expected - the internet is roasting her HARD over it:
