Stop This Trend: Creepy Dudes Who Don't Understand How Rejection Works

There is a phenomenon in the world we live in - particularly on the internet - where dudes just refuse to accept rejection from girls (not that it's limited to these specific gender roles or anything, but it's ALARMINGLY common). The girl will either hint that she's not interested or even flat-out say it, and the dudes almost take this as more of a challenge than an actual rejection, and WILL NOT LET UP. It's almost akin to a horror story - where a creepy weirdo is just relentlessly in pursuit and seemingly nothing will stop them.

It was a Tinder date, not a true blind date. We'd both seen photos and chatted a little.

Just no interest, I wasn't attracted to him and found him a little rude. The date was supposed to be us jamming at a park, but every song that I suggested he snubbed.
