Have you ever made a purchase while intoxicated and then been 100% surprised a week later to find this mystery item on your doorstep? Or maybe you've made a sober purchase that just kinda got lost in your closet for a few months before randomly rediscovering the lost gem?
Well whatever the case, Twitter user @fart had a similar situation when he stumbled upon a pair of outlandish Vans he'd forgotten about, so he proudly sent out this tweet to alert the world:
These shoes are so terrible, that Twitter - no joke - gives you a sensitive material warning before viewing the picture.
Shortly after posting the picture, the rest of Twitter noticed how offensively bad these shoes were and decided to share their thoughts as well. They were...less than kind.
And nearly a YEAR later, people were chiming in with even more insults, because these shoes are so bad, they are *not* to be forgotten.
A celebrity even joined in on the bashing.
This went on so long, one of the roasters actually made a Storify to commemorate the beautiful roasting.
I made a Storify of the time we roasted @fart's shoes so hard he stopped being friends with me for a couple days https://t.co/IoTT32AsVT

So I guess the lesson here is: Never post any questionable purchase on social media or face the brutal, but justified repercussions.
