Some people aren't satisfied with just putting out some fake cobwebs and want to truly shock people with their Halloween displays. Normally, this results in fuddy-dud neighbors mumbling something about "that ain't right..." but occasionally it results in a call to the local news or even worse -- the police.
I've assembled a focus group composed of elderly Fox News watchers, soccer moms, and conservative local politicians to rank these Halloween decorations that have all been accused of going too far. Here's the scale of inappropriateness we'll be using.
1-3: Group of neighbors shaking their heads.
4-7: Leaving an angry anonymous note that includes the phrase "think of the children."
8-10: Call the authorities.
